1990 Italian Marques Racers

Hi - I posted some pictures last month taken at Snetterton back in 1990 of an Italian Marques event - a couple of 131 Sports in the paddock and a 131 Racer that was competing. Please find the remainder of the photos - no more 131's but a couple of Strada's,Beta's etc...Apologies for the picture quality but I hope you enjoy.James.

Well done James,

The white 1600 Beta is Ian Pearce's car, it looked quite stock at this time but soon morphed into a big body-modded racer using the same kit as John Day's blue/yellow Beta 2000. Not absolutley sure but I think the black/yellow 130TC is Neil Crandons 1st racing Strada, if thats the case it was written off at Snetterton when he rolled it.....Silly Billy 
I saw him write off his 2nd 130TC at Brands Hatch when he went wide at Graham Hill bend and hit the raised rallycross bank (long gone). I think you could have heard the impact BOOM in Essex   

If you have any more pics of the old Intermarque stick them on here, there were quite a few 131s running in it.

I wonder if any of the 131 are still around ..and i'm sure i went up to that one .

This is now Big Toad at Castle Combe in 1991-2,  the tent is it's garage, which we call the hole,  (Toad in the hole )

Some great shots.

I remember in the Mid 80's watching a 131 Sport in the Slick 50 Budget Racing Series.

I also remember the 130TC in Production Racing.

Do we see such vehicles in any classic racing now.
