Our long running forum member Eugene is currently sitting at Pembroke docks awaiting the early morning ferry to Ireland.

He is sitting in his latest pride and joy having picked it up from London this morning. The car was purchased sight unseen (through the eyes of a friend) and whisked away for re-commissioning over the last week.

During this time it has had all new fluids incl gearbox and axle oil, new fuel and water pumps, battery, plugs, ignition leads & points, cam belt courtesy of Theo, air, oil and fuel filters and the brakes checked and adjusted.? Eugene is delighted with the car having enjoyed a very smooth journey west along the M4. Cruising speed was kept to 50/60mph while the new owner aquainted himself with this 34 year old beauty.

What next? Well the car has been bought in time for a return to it's birth place on 3MA09 for the 35th anniversary of the Fiat 131 Mirafiori.? Smiley

Congratulations on the new car Eugene - Many years of happy ownership.? Wink

Are you coming in a Fiat or a Merc Dave? - Couldn't you have timed it better to visit your forum buddies...?  Wink

Merc I'm afraid I don't currently have a Fiat in suitable order to make the trip. We shall be staying near Dundrum in Tipperary.

Fine looking specimen you have there Eugene Cool

I was seriously tempted myself - but I ended up selling rather than buying Undecided.

Looking forward to having a good close up look at her next week.
