The last time I enquired about shipping from Australia to the UK it had to done either by the half container load or multiple thereof.

I hope that you're only kidding, but we had to ship a container load from Brisbane, Au, to Farnborough, UK in Feb 2006, and the total cost one way was about ?1,700 sterling.
