A real mix of styles and parts the Ozzie spec series 2 SuperBravas.
Anoraks on please
These cars are basically right hand drive versions of the North American market cars and therefore have the large impact absorbing chrome bumpers, but the Ozzie cars generally get European spec engines (no unleaded or cats) and air conditioning as standard. They were even badged as Brava's rather than mirafioris.
Unlike North America though, FIAT exported series 3 2000TC 'facelift' SuperBravas to Australia. They would be the ultimate spec for UK roads - externally identical to European series 3 models but with air con. Nice
Sorry, I could bore you all to death about Australian 131s. I have a very good mate, Mike Ruckert, who lives near Brisbane, QLD who has a series 1 Familiare (or what he calls a 'Wagon'!
), a car I've been driven in. We have been discussing the differences in various market 131 specs since I honeymooned in Australia in 1992
(I've still got my anorak on - has anyone else?
)
