If it is the standard 131 weber carb it should have the model number on the side of the carb bottom mounting near the base. It is stamped quite small so might be difficult to see with the carb fitted. Personally I would fit a K&N filter to it if I were you. From memory 34 ADF rings a bell but I'm not sure if this is indeed the correct carb.

I'm sure someone else on here will know for sure.

OK. THANKS I did think the K&N would be better but thought i could just get a direct replacment for the piper cross. The foam inside the pipercross was falling apart big time so that put me off. If i get the number on the bottom of the carb then i assume i can then order a universal k&n base plate and filter element.
REGARDS.....

K&N did do a filter for the 131 carb as I had one fitted to mine (before fitting twin 40 Dellortos).

Their listing is usually pretty reliable. See if you can find a on line seller and check out their catalogue.
