Yes me too, but I dont think these people actually sell bits at these prices, think they are just trying it on in the hope that some mug might come along ?

i don't think that they really make those prices. perhaps for some rare bits, but for majority of these items definately not. on the other hand, who knows? there might still be fools out there?

problem is that people are getting wrong ideas when they see such prices. if for example i wanted to sell instrument panel from my 131, i'd definately check out the prices of simmilar items before i determine my price. if i saw mk1 dash fir 150, and perhps another one for 120e, i'd come to logical, yet wrong, conclusion that my dash is worth about the same. preety soon someone who really needs such item won't ne able to buy it for less money. that's how prices of 131 abarth cars have doubled and tripled over past couple of years.

that's also why all items marked abarth have reached astronomical prices, even those that aren't rare at all.

btw, in my humble opinion, that instrument panel is worth 20-30e

I gave a pair of instrument panels to Jason for his CL. And he gave me some 131 bits in return that would fit my Sport but not his CL. That's what the 131 community should be about: helping each other to keep the cars going so we can enjoy them. Trying to make lots of money out of used bits is just wrong and as djape1977 said it gives the uninitiated the wrong idea about these cars. Yagmur sells high quality new parts for a lot less than some people are trying to sell their used parts!

Very good point Theo & as miro pointed out about the stupid prices being asked for stuff on the for sale section
those people should be on the down to business section & the barter system or helping each other & not ripping the * on the for sale & wanted, i have done business with some of the lads on here as well as Yagmur & have gotten a great & satisfying service, & good parts also.

Wow - absolutely nuts - He's wasting his listing fee.

I've never seen a 3 square dash set that is missing the centre clock - I wonder is it from a commercial version...? Huh

That is the clock in the centre Kev. It's the rev-counter that's 'missing' which means it's for a basic 'L' version.

I think you mean 1300 CL version Theo - The L version for S2 had the S1 base model clocks.

Anyway look at the second picture (which I should have explained was the one I was refrerring to) - There are two different clocks for sale.... so only ?100 each!!  Wink
