I know it's early to be talking about this but I thought it would be interesting to see what people thought we should do for our annual Irish Fiat get together.

I've put down three options which should give a reasonable choice.

Personally I don't really mind as long as we have a really good turn out, after that my own preference is to pop across to Wales on the Ferry. We have a local member (Dai) who already has a suitable hotel in Aberystweth suggested and he can get us access to a few off road tracks for a bit of fun, for those so inclined.  Wink

Access to West Wales could not be simpler and the drive on the other side will be a maximum of 2 hours, probably less. Over to you now to express your preference.  Smiley

 pop across to Wales

I suppose that puts an end to the idea of 3ma11 being in the UK....

Do you think so Theo? - Simon has been suggesting England for some time and that's a pretty big place. If GKMRs can be in multiple locations in Ireland, couldn't Fiat get togethers be in multiple places in England/UK?  Smiley

If 3MA11 was to be in England/UK, I've read about some great driving roads up in the North East and I've yet to visit the Lake District.

I know we have always said that "next" year's 3MA is usually discussed on "this" years event but as the subject has been aired, I fancy Normandy as a candidate for 3MA11.  Smiley

I thought I better get in before Theo here ...and ask what is a GMRK...? Cheesy

I know what you are saying Jay but that would be half the fun - I like to have at least two Fiat themed events per year.  Smiley

I agree with Kevin on this one. Two events are better than one and one day I hope to get the GKMR as well as the 3MA.  Wink Grin

The GKMR is a very separate event from the 3MA, and was set up in honour of the late Gerry Kennedy. As such it is an 'all FIAT' event whereas the 3MA is, strictly speaking, an event exclusively for 131s Cool Grin
