I was told they were genuine sport wings and they were sold as that ..as i mentioned at start of post,
It just shows you really have to do your home work sometimes for the 131 SPORT if you want to be precise about parts and panells etc as there can be a difference in parts compared to standard.
I thought the difference was in the lip of the wing that the sport has a bigger lip on the wing than the standard 131 or 4 door.?

i'd say they were a bargain,(edited) once the molding's are on,you would never know,,and for all cases i took them off my (edited) sport,so i'm lead to believe cause it has the brackets on them that they were real mc'coys,,,(edited) i'm out off here,?120 quid delivered Shocked

Yeath they were a good deal im not saying that they were not and i never mentioned your user name ok !!.
I would not have known they were not sport wings until i was told tonight other wise.Thats the good thing about this site you get ALL 131 info..............
I did say the seller might not have known they were original !! to be fair mate.
I did not know they were not original, either did you so fair enough.

106usj sport wings are really different to ordinary 131 wings as they never rusted  Grin Grin Grin Grin only joking they are all the same as they all rusted   Shocked Shocked Shocked

Yes thats true Redlad.
Unless you have fiberglass body kit on the 131 to hide most of the rust then you dont have to worry so much.

Bren you should be using 3/4 ply not 1/2 inch plywood for flooring... young lads its hard to teach them  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Lucky for me all the floor supports floor pan etc was done before i bought it so at least if i drop a cigarette it wont go up in flames like the 3/4 ply  Grin Grin

i broke a 131 sport last years that had 5 layers of floors,welded?? on top of each other & what a mess.

I have 2x front wings off an Orange Sport (they are genuine with lugs etc.) both in good but used nick, also a front bumper  these can be collected FOC from my lock up in Nottingham.I am keeping arch extensions for my own 131.
