A quick general question.
In prep for my future restoration where can i get or source the vinyl material that goes down both windscreen pillars on the Sport Huh  or Racing.

They are a moulded plastic part that sits on top of the pillar & goes under the rubber, there is also a similar set up on the c pillar, id say they will be hard to find in good used condition & probably impossible to get new, you gac however get all the metal parts of the windscreen off Yagmur & paint them black.

You could try vinyl as in vinyl roof , i know mine had it on orgiinaly . . It was on its second vinly roof as the dealer one ( i belive they where put on to hide the bad paint jobs ) was wide enough to cover the whole roof  but later one's had two seams down  the sides

yes i have seen the pillars & they are spot on, those things will trap water & it will rust under them, even on my old sport when i resprayed it i left them off & painted the pillars black.

Jasohn as Sid said its some type of plastic they used not vinyl on the originals but i did think of using vinyl as an option but i dont think it would look right.
But as said its maybe better with out any thing but a coat of black paint to save any rust problems later.
Cheers. 106

Jasohn .
Vinyl fitted as standard to the roof, a, and c pillars, on your old Sport thats intresting i miss understood i thought you meant it had the vinyl just on the roof and the plastic material on the a and c pillars.
Im going to paint the pillars as other boys have done just to save greif i think once Sam gets a chance to post pics.
