Q. For Enzo & Fiatfactory & any one else who has experiance with twin 40s fitted to 131 tc 2000.

Will a genuine Fiat manifold fitted with the Weber twin 40s fit the RHD 131 Sport with out having to remove the dizzy from the block and fit one to the head ?.

The codes on my Fiat manifold are as follows.
 Stamped .125 BC 000.
Below this  is the code 4242995 this is on the LHS of the manifold.
On the RHS it is stamped FIAT 1 then below AS62.
Thanks 106

Again Enzo thanks for the pictures,
Also Jasonh is that a twin 40 idf set up with the dizzy in the block coz ive been told and understood if you fited the weber twin 40 idf with the genuine fiat waffle manifold  on the 131 you had to bank off the block and fit a cam mounted dizzy ?

Can't see what manifold it is on but it looks like IDFs and a block mounted distributor to me Wink

I thought it was sidedraughts that had the clearance issues?

Guy croft and others make/made a manifold to fit twin sidedraughts with the block mounted distributor but it's tight Smiley

Dave looks like a 40/44 idf to me also so mine should be ok to fit with out fitting a cam mounted dizzy.
Can a forum member who knows for sure the answer to this issue with the weber 40 idf and 2000 tc 131 engine please confirm as i cant get near my sport jst now to check

My blue 131 above has the swept back alquati manifold with bored out 40 idfs and yes had to cut the panel at the back and remove the fuse box rear cover, i was just showing the throttle linkage was an easy adapted for the super just turn the bracket upside down and but on the last bolt and a new brace on the other bolt on the cam cover and a new hole in the bracket.
And no you can't fit the fiat waffel manifold with a block dissy. and side drafts can only be fitted with very narrow filters to clear the strut tower
