Hi guys!

I am going to reproduce the VIN plate for Fiat 131 Racing. At this time I am speaking about the VIN plate that is the plate for "early models". This VIN plate is in cars with chassic number starting with 131AK. I call this model as 1st series Racing.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED TO HAVE ONE, PLEASE SEND ME AN E-MAIL OR PERSONAL MESSAGE. THE PLATE WILL COST 20 - 25 EUR DEPENDING ABOUT THE AMOUNT I AM MAKING THESE.

...

I am also going to reproduce the other plate next to VIN plate. To be honest I have no idea what this other plate is but I think it is supposed to be there.

Because the other plate (shown in left side of the VIN plate) is so corroded in my car, I need your help with the numbers.

Is someone able to send me a good quality photo of this plate? I need a photo from where I can see all the text and geometry printed to this plate. I am going to send a new a plate for FREE to first person who can help me with this issue.

The dimensions are 83mm by 37mm Marko and I've e-mailed you some pics of mine. It was difficult to get a square on photo because of the bonnet preventing this.... Smiley Hope they are of some use.

MarkoH,

If somebody, Simon for example, should hand you a copy for the Abarth version. Could you do it? I would be the first to buy them from you, since my Abarth is short of any type of identification.

Thanks Kev! The pics are excellent. I owe you one plate...

I am able to reproduce any plate needed. Fiat has used same template from early 60's to late 70's. There might be some differences in logo type etc. but the dimensions and other graphics has been same all the time. I think that Simon's Stradale has this same type VIN plate. This is just a lucky guess...

Here is an example picture of this kind of VIN plate. It is from FIAT 128 from 1974. As you can see, the template is exactly the same as 131 Racing's VIN plate. The logo is just different:

Here is just another reference picture - a VIN plate for Lancia Delta Integrale:

I think it will take 2 - 3 weeks to finish this project. I'll let you know when the plates are ready. Thanks.
