I'm just back from a two week holiday that was very much car based. It involved 12 days of driving mostly in California, 2000 miles and much sight seeing. It has the most tenuous link with Fiat (having seen 4 124 Spiders and no 131s) but it was an awesome touring experience in the second most powerful car I've ever driven - A 3.7 litre 305 hp...? If people are interested in a non 131 but car based account of a road trip, I'll post up the pics and details.  Smiley

Life must be good Kev Smiley

Mirafiori spotting in the Canaries in June followed by a 2,000 mile trip around America. Your not related to Judith Chalmers by any chance! Grin

Gee... I wish Si - You couldn't be further from the truth - You should see the sacrifices I have to make just to have a little holiday...! Smiley

Rob no I wasn't in the Canaries this year - Back in 2007, I was - Are you confused with that maybe..? Smiley

Kev

I was probably looking at an old article on the website after a long day at work and not observing the date thought it was current. Roll Eyes Probably the first sign that I am losing my marbles, or time for a less stressful job Grin.

Well seeing as you asked so nicely...but bearing in mind that it is not a subject that is exciting too much interest.... can any movie car chase fans guess why this car prompted me to take a few pics as it was parked on a steep hill in San Francisco...?  Smiley

Oh yes you're right, ok it was the green Beetle that spawned over and over again in the downhill scenes  Smiley

I think I can hear Lalo Schifrin's 'shifting gears' playing in the background  Grin
