Looks like a pretty good example and I'm sure it will make at least the ?1000 it needs to come with 12 months MOT.

Already over ?1000 Shocked

Isn't ebay fickle? The Maltese import had a full 12 months MOT, and struggled to make this much.

On the face of it this looks like an excellent Supermirafiori and with some TLC and money could I am sure could be a great car. However when you want a Sport nothing else will do Grin

Certain keywords in the ad. "Elderly lady", "garaged all its life", and others give the impression this is a solid car driven by a responsible, cautious person. Dents and scratches are quite self-evident when buying a car from elderly people, so I wouldn't care about that. I agree with Rob, with a little work this is a very good Super for the connoisseur who is not set on Sport and nothing else.

As always you need to go and look to make sure it really is what you want. It does also say in the ad that it has been welded previously. The question is how much, where and to what standard?

To buy a car at ebay by just looking at some pictures is a high risk. Especially when there are no pics of the underside. And how about mechanial stuff.

I suppose it depends if you can do the work yourself or have to pay someone to do it for you. Generally the mechanical parts are pretty easy to get and mechanical repairs are pretty easy to do to a good standard. The problem for most people is the bodywork.
