These keep popping up for sale - Like Mike asked recently, it would be great to know how many Sports/Racings were built... Smiley

Another wonderful example.
Yes, Kev. I'd really like to know how many were build. Since it seems there are still a lot of them left.

Yes it is good to see that they still keep appearing Smiley One of them will be bought by me when the time is right Grin Grin When it comes down to it nothing but a Sport / Racing will do and it must be in one of the original colours  Cool

There was much less this kind of special models built but because of their "specialty" it seems that these models has been survived much better than usual ones.

Good examples are Fiat Ritmo / Strada and 131. Thousands of regular models imported to Finland but 85% of survivors are 125 & 130 TC Abarth and Racing / Sport models. The regular ones were not so "interesting" and thats why they have been demolished.

Another good example is my Cosworth. 20 pcs imported to Finland, survival percentage is something like 50 - 60 %. Thousands of regular 1.3, 1.6 and 2.0 models imported, survival percentage is less than 10%.

Since i don't know exact numbers of all different versions produced  and imported i can't tell how much survived here in Holland, but i know lots and lots of Fiats from the 70's and early 80's have disappeared because of the nice wet weather here.
When i was running the, then only, 131 club in the 90's i noticed that there were not many Racings. Most members had a 1600 CL. Nowadays i think there are only a handful left.
Besides, and this makes me angry sometimes, the 131's have to make place for 124 spiders  Sad Sad Sad

The only thing I can say for sure, with some help from a friend of mine and a fellow member of the forum Pavlos, is that there are about 13 two door ones here in Greece many of them transformed to sports/racing...
