On the 29th June this year it was my son's School Leaver's Prom (where did those 16 years go?!? Roll Eyes) at The Village Hotel in Farnborough and him and two friends asked me to drive them in my Abarth. It's a tradition that leavers arrive at the prom in some sort of exciting and different transport and this year there was everything from the ubiquitous Rolls Royce and red fire engine to a huge 1920's American 'gangster' car. Parents must have shelled out a fortune  Shocked. Here's a pic to give you an idea of the intensity of this event - people and cameras everywhere Grin Incidentally - Ashley is the guy in the silver suit standing with his not-girlfriend Jo and mate Eric in front of the car.

Horrible Junk is a good enough description for what is behind the 131 Grin Grin. I also loathe such vehicles and am glad to report there are very few on Europe's Roads Smiley Smiley unlike some places I could mention  Undecided Undecided.

They have their uses I guess. Big 4X4s are useful for towing big trailers and so on but I wouldn't drive one around as my daily Roll Eyes

No chauffeur's uniform required Kev! Wink

What you can't see in the photo is that the white 4x4 is actually a stretched limo, with a 3 metre section inserted between the front and rear doors! Shocked It could bearly get round the car park!  Cheesy Cheesy
