I last went to this event in 2005 and thought it was a great show.

As I can recall there were a few 131's and a number of 70's Lancias.

I am planning to go this year. Does anyone plan to show their 131 there. Or if anyone is going, it would be good to meet up. Mrs Rob 131 will also be present  Grin Grin Probably to ensure I don't buy anything  Shocked Shocked

Point taken about leaving your car for three days but travel depends on where you live. Try making a day trip to Brooklands from where I live.......

Not much interest then  Cry Cry Cry

Theo

There is an auction on the 17th November, organised by Silverstone Auctions. There is a Bronze 1981 Lancia Gamma Coupe that has been part of a private collection going through.

Looks very nice from the pictures  Grin Grin Grin

The trouble with the NEC Rob is more than just distance - it's the venue itself! They make you park miles away (usually) and you have to take a bus to the Halls, where you are then charged a King's Ransom to see cars you've probably seen before!  Roll Eyes

So, sorry mate, but I will take something very special for me to attend. Wink

Doesn't seem too bad if you want to take the family, but if you're just on your own then ?18-50 a ticket doesn't seem that cheap. However, I suppose it's the major indoor show on the calendar and big venues cost lots of money to use.

Just found out the parents are on holiday that week and therefore cannot mind the children  Cry Cry (how selfish of them Cheesy)

I don't think the children would appreciate the whole classic car thing  Undecided Undecided.

I'll go to the Motorcycle Show in December as an alternative  Smiley Smiley

Changed my mind again.

Instead of the wife and I going by train for a leisurely day out. Few drinks on the way back and a meal  Smiley Smiley

We'll all going in spite of my comments regarding children and the whole classic car thing  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

I don't want to miss this one. I'll take plenty of picture and post.
