I'm not up to speed on the 16 valve engine so a question.

Were all 16 valve engines 2 litre or did they do other sizes.

Also does anyone know what engine the engine code 131 b1.000 is

All 16 V engines for 131 Abarth were 2 litre engines, except for 035 which was a 1400 cc. Lancia 037 used the same head and i believe they also had 1400 cc engines, but i'm not sure.

So that engine code is for an 8 valve engine. Thought so Smiley

It's the single overhead cam engine.

I found this in an old copy of "Bialbero" from the winter 1988 edition - it was the magazine of the FIAT Twin cam register.

It's posted as a .pdf too incase the .jpg isn't clear enough
