Now the snow has gone and the water in the kettle no longer freezes over-night ( I kid you not  Shocked ) we at Classics and Cabriolets have finally managed to get on with preping the cars that arrived in the last batch. So thought a few pics would be appreciated of our Autobianchi A112 28000 kms from new and last on the road in 97, runs superbly and puts a grin on your face when you drive it Grin

Thanks Yagmur. What about this one, now prepped and ready to go, bought from the same collection with 46000 kms from new? G

Hi Simon, no, suprising considering how nice she is, we still have her Shocked been very close to it going abroad a couple of times ( both times it did not happen due to regulations/requirements in their country) and other times it has hinged on the prospective buyer selling another car first, but i am sure it will find a good home soon. I would of bet it would not hang about but it goes that way sometimes.  Roll Eyes Funny thing is there is a very strong demand at the moment for either the big 130 coupes and saloons, or down the other end, 500's 128s etc. they tend to sell before they arrive and are going to some very strange places like the Lebanon!! But if you have a space in your garage pineing for a lovely Blue 131 Super feel free to discuss! G

Simca Rallye 2  Yagmar, now they are rare!! G

I think you'll find the reason the 131 hasn't sold is down to price.

The car is LHD and IMHO one of the lesser desirable colours.

Also this is a Super, not a Sport.

Needs a major price adjustment to sell.

Hi Rob, i hear what your saying reference colour, but as you say "in your opinion", i personally say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and if everyone liked the same thing wouldnt life be boring? Price? well yes its not cheap but then as you say if it was a sport in this condition me thinks, in my humble op[inion, it would be ?10k all day long. Also when you say its a LHD well as over half our vehicles sell abroad to lhd countries then thats an advantage to us. The market is now world wide and we have to cater for that. All the best. G

Thanks for the offer Graham but my "garage" is currently full of 131 Abarth Stradale and 131 Special as well as three other 131s Grin.

I did seriously consider your car for a while but I'm a purist and your car has power steering which for me detracts, regardless of how and where it was installed. For the record - the fact that it's LHD does not cause me any problem personally, even for use in UK. My Abarth is LHD as was my 131 Racing, as well as two 124 Spiders I used to own. If you want a type of car badly enough it's condition that rules the purchase, not which side the driver sits IMHO! Cheesy

As of 3Q12 I now have an S2 1600 Supermirafiori of my own - albeit not quite as 'perfect' as the one you are currently selling. Wink Almost, but not quite. Cool

Good luck with the sale. Smiley I hope it goes to a good home.

The LHD part doesn't worry me too much.

When it comes to Sport's where my desire really lies, LHD is generally accepted as the way to go.

Hi Simon, forgot to say that the original rack came all wrapped up in the boot so if really wanted I am sure we could get her back to original spec  Grin G
