Well we have started 3ma a bit early this year,  we are currently on board the overnight ferry to Hook of Holland and will start a slow meander tomorrow.

I was hoping to update more often, lack of Internet is a pain, went to Kuekenhof  yesterday brilliant spring flowers. Then went to Arnhem today before heading into Germany, driven down the side of the Rhein now staying at Spayer and plan to see the technical muses tomorrow before going to the Black Forest . Looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday.

I thought I would share a photo of the car as we left, I expect it is the only time it will be clean on the trip - Kev can I borrow your bucket?

Tonight is the first night we have had internet on the trip; we are in a village called Baiersbronn in the Black Forest.  Yesterday's drive down the Rhine started very well and ended up a little stressy when we were stuck in a traffic jam & I noticed the temp guage at 110 and climbing, heater on to full heat and full speed interior fan just as we boarded a ferry across the Rhine. All sorted - a bad connection on the fan connector
