While being a sort of 3ma for Lancia Betas, the Betameeta13 has little to do with 131s but as my Beta (Trevi) is still in bits, I thought I'd attend in the 131 since the Betameeta13 would be one place were the beauty of my alloys would be appreciated
Plus Betas have the same twin-cams as fitted to our 131s but with extra plumbing in most versions....
Betameeta13 was over the extended weekend of 7th to 9th June and was based at the
Sharnbrook Hotel in (obviously) Sharnbrook, near Bedford in Bedfordshire, UK.
My 131 wasn't the only Fiat present as there was a lovely 124 Spider (which being one of the latest was actually a Pininfarina Spider and not a Fiat Spider) for the whole weekend. And on Saturday evening the previous owner of my 131 arrived in another Fiat 124 Spider. Fourteen Betas of various types plus a Lancia Y10 completed the car lineup for the weekend. And the weekend was organised by one of the many previous owners of my Trevi (owner number 10 with me being the 12th!
