I only knew this car for a brief period and it's owner for slightly longer.

I first spotted it in St Austell (Cornwall) around 1993/4 being driven by a young chap wearing a base ball cap accompanied by 3/4 other guys similarly attired.

I wouldn't normally approach such a group but as they were driving a Supermirafiori, it was an opportunity not to be missed!

Especially as it had just had some drastic surgery. The springs had been chopped (almost in half I think ..judging by the shakes demonstrated by the occupants!!), it was painted in a non standard red (originally brown) and had Lancia alloys fitted. The car later had it's windows blacked out...but I guessed that you could have predicted that!!? Grin

Anyway from memory, I believe that the car was scrapped shortly afterwards (cant remember if it was a blown engine or a failed MOT Roll Eyes) and the owner bought a Croma Turbo - I've added pics of that car to show that the owner WAS actually a Fiat enthusiast and not just an opportunist shaking the last days out of a twin cam motor...and my old silver Sport is in the pics with the big Fiat.  Cool
