Very rare opportunity to acquire my rust free, low mileage series 1 Fiat Uno in totally original, ?mint? condition. This car has been dry stored for 15 years and has been meticulously looked after and its immaculate overall ?showroom? condition is testament to that.
The car comes with 11 months MOT, 5 months tax and service history. The car has just been serviced and has recently had a new clutch, exhaust, brake discs, calipers and pads. The car comes with it?s original ?Reg Vardy?dealership number plates, dealership key ring fob and original documents including the owners handbook, owner?s handbook supplements detailing the right hand drive instruments, service/warranty book, Fiat dealership guide and original AA membership form including the original AA membership card and Blaupunkt radio operating booklet.
Documented service history covers the pre-delivery service (24/10/88), 1,500 service (17/11/88), 6000 service (08/05/89, 12,000 service (11/01/91) and 30,000 (05/08/13).
Exterior
The metallic ?Azure? blue exterior is totally original. All panels are free from rust, marks and scratches. The clear lacquer finish to the paint is free from marks or scratches on all panels. All the wheel arches are solid and rust free as is the bonnet, hatch and all four doors.
All the door shut-areas and doorframes are rust free. The factory injected wax can still been seen leaking through the drain holes at the base of each door. All exterior trim is as new. Bumpers, lights, door trim are all free from marks, scratches, cracks and are in the same condition as they were when the car left the factory 25 years ago.
All rubber seals round all the windows, windscreen, hatch and all four doors are as new and show no signs of wear or perishing.
All four original plastic centre wheel trims are free from any scuffs, marks or cracks.
Interior
The overall interior has a brand new feel to it. The seats are covered in blue check cloth. All the seats are immaculate and do not show any signs of wear and
are free from any stains, tears, rips, sagging or fading. The carpet is as new and is also free from any signs of wear.
The one piece headlining, door trim and door cards are again all immaculate. The blue check cloth is continued over onto the doors and free from any signs of wear. All the window winders operate firming and the windows shut tightly.
The dashboard is as new. All the instruments, 2 speed fan, and heater all work perfectly and all switches operate firmly and are solid. The dashboard is free from any cracks, marks or scratches. The original factory fitted, period stereo, Blaupunkt radio, cassette works perfectly. Two factory fitted speakers are located in the rear, either side of the parcel shelf. The rear seats come fitted with the original factory fitted seat belts.
The hatch is fully carpeted and shows no signs of wear. The rear parcel shelf is present and is as new, free from warping or fading. The engine bay is clean and free from rust.
The series one Fiat Uno is now 30 years old and becoming increasingly rare and are today now very hard to find, especially in this outstanding original condition. No doubt having been dry stored for such a long period has helped to preserve this car?s amazing condition. Registered in August 1988, this is one of the last series one Uno?s to be made. Anyone will be hard pressed to find another series one in this totally original immaculate condition. The car is in perfect ?show condition? and perfect for anyone looking for an original super mini from the 1980?s or a Fiat enthusiast looking for a showroom condition, classic car.
