Hello,

I noticed that the kit which I bought from walezy in 2007 has different front center fiberglass part than any other kit.

- is this one completely wrong one ?

- is it older model ?

- is it for cold climate because it has two small air intake at center (by the way it has not cut in the picture)

please comment on this issue.

cheers

Ali

It's not Stradale/group 4. I've never seen anything like it ever. Different though  Shocked

i am agree with Mike,
that parts was the first Abarth parts made by Walezy (Tomasz)
on the pic you can see the first and the second modified part!

the first have nothing to do with an Gr.4 or Stradale!
but the second comes near the Gr.4 and Stradale.

Would have to agree with the above lads..
that front panel isn't something I have ever seen on a gp4 car ..
it's a matter of taste if you like it 'great' but if it's annoying you, now's the time to replace as it's to late when all sprayed up & bolted on.. cause I guarantee if you get a second panel after everything is sprayed the replacement panel wont line up with the wings .. it's fibreglass afterall & unlikely that 2 panels will come out exactly the same especially if your fussy about lines and gaps..
by the way great to see another one getting flared out.. Cheesy

Hello,
That front bumper was taken from car that was sold to Bulgaria as a part of some bigger government deal made in communist times. That bumper was used only in 1 or 2 cars and it was in real works group 4 car. The car was bought by my German friend that later gave me original panels to restore them and to make moulds of it.

Tomasz Cecot"

if you say it's built only 1 or 2 times but there are no past pictures from them!   Cheesy

it's difficult to say it is Original,  without a proof of authenticity,   Roll Eyes

i love this story's about Original and not Original.  Grin

I cannot say that everything is 100% original in that car that i got the parts from but it was definitely complete group 4 car, it had kugelfisher injection, dogbox, wide wheel arches , 16v engine, rollcage worth nothing(good just to dry clothes on it) etc. It has been barn find and now is completely restored to new condition.

Hello

It seems that even I like looking of the other model front valance I will have unique gr. 4 replica.  Cool

Hey Thomasz, I think I was the one of your first customers for these fiber parts.

As I remeber at that time you only offer stradale or tarmac version (wide fender) fiber parts and there was no two different front valance.

Seems i have some problems with uploading pictures. Perhaps later...

It seems to be a bit like the front pieces some Seat 131 Abarths had. Isnt it?

BTW, I just bought a very early mold kit. Its been made from ex-works car in Finland at 1980. In fact, it might be THE mold kit the Finnish dealer team had for making the parts for the works cars.
