Well Nick, the E30 is a Helmut Kohl era car, not "Angela merkle". These were the good old times when there were still 2 Germanys (but only one that built carsWink

We were better off then, btw.

The E30 (even for me, not being into BMWs) happens to be a nice little motor, especially when it comes like this:

After all the stick I took about (not) posting pics of my M5 on this forum, I find the pics of these 3-series appearing on an 'Italian Cars Only' site (other people's words, not mine) rather surprising.

I'm a fan of beemers and like the E30. My mate use to have a gem of a 318is that I use to look after and then I followed with 5 E36's all 318is's Grin

Chris what engines in that E30?

Robert I think the e30 was one of the best cars BMW ever made. It's was the last of the classic BMW's & was very well build.
