Hi Guys,
I am after some help regarding my sump!
I have a Fiat 131 2.0L 8V Twin Cam Engine that has a damaged sump. The engine came out of a scrap yard back in the eighties. Sadly the car it came out of was about to be crushed but thankfully I managed to salvage the engine just in time. The previous owner had obviously grounded the sump at some stage and had tried to bash out the dents from inside as the baffles have been removed.
I have been trying to locate a replacement sump for some time but I keep turning a blank.
I have been in touch with Middle Barton Garage who are 124 specialists and are able to get a sump for me but they are not sure if the 124 uses the same sump as the 131.
Can anyone tell me which models are compatible if any with the 131.
Also if anyone has a sump that they are willing to sell, new or second hand, I would be most grateful if you could drop me a line.
Regards,
Chris

Hello, if you haven't found a sump yet, I can give you a contact of someone that possibly has it.

my understanding is that the 124 sumps will not fit the 2L series, the 2L uses a different oil pump and the sump is deeper. argenta sump and oil pump available ?? i think the sump  bolt spacing is slightly different too (have just fitted a 2L to my 124 sedan)
