NYL 485Y - Where is it now..?

I chanced across this Series 3 in St Austell, Cornwall in the mid 90s. As soon as I showed some interest in the car the owner was out of his shop like a shot offering to sell it! Obviously not an enthusiast with an eye on the future!

I do rememebr thinking that it was in pretty poor condition at the time but compared with what is generally available nowadays it would be considered a good find now, especially as it was a regular driver.

I believe the paint code for this car is 613 Azure blue.......I'm filling up.......

My first non-Sport 131 was a series 3 Super like this one, reg XPE 613 Y, which was the same colour as this beastie. I had it for almost 60,000 wonderful miles, from 1987 until 1991. How I miss that car...............

Mine was in slightly better condition that this one though. If I can find a scanner I'll post up some pics. It was a show car in every sense.

I'm gonna have trouble getting to sleep tonight with all of these 131 memories whirling around in my head......
