I bought the wife an Alfa Mito (in Alfa Red, picture to follow) as a surprise a few weeks back Cool. A modern one out of the legendary Mirafiori Plant.

To say she was delighted having owned my 159 for a few months previously after I replaced it, would be an understatement  Grin Cheesy.

However, she clearly wasn't pleased enough to let me purchase Albert's Silver Racing  Cry Cry Cry Angry Angry Cry

Nice one Rob  Cool Love the colour - just right for any Alfa.

This is my latest purchase, but a product of the Rivalta Plant I'm afraid.......

Looks a lovely example.

What's the 'driveway challenge' here Grin

The fastest 5 Seater BMW M5 Shocked

Not sure there's a 'driveway challenge' Rob, only to try to get the best I possibly can for the often limited budget I have at the time  Wink

I couldn't pass up the Uno - it's a 'powerful' 60 S by the way, so with the 1,116 FIRE engine and a heady 58 bhp which as you say is a far cry from the 552 bhp of the M5, but cars for me aren't always about the power, they're about the 'feeling' - that is to say, how a car makes you feel when you drive it, and the Uno puts as big a smile on my face as the M5 does, but for a totally different reason  Grin Grin The Uno is about past and family (my sister's first car was a red A-reg 45S 3-dr and my Mum owned a 1990/H-reg S2 Uno 60S 5-dr) and times before children  Shocked Grin

My 131 Specials are similar, they're not powerful at all but I love to look at them and enjoy driving them and like to know that they're mine  Wink and I'm making my own memories with them, and memories for my kids too, as they've never known life without old Fiats around, and old 131s especially. When my Dad saw the Uno ealier this week he say 'It's the wrong shape Si', meaning it wasn't a 131, but he understood why I bought it  Grin I don't have to explain it to him, or the wife....luckily.
