LHD is awkward but the main issue for me is it's an import. A genuine UK car in the UK is a piece of UK motoring history. To me a LHD car isn't quite the same.

Yes very true . In the case off the delta integral hf there are some people who consider the original lhd the real deal even though a couple of hundred were converted to rhd in the UK . Purists wouldn't consider a rhd version . It's horses for courses . The fiat 131 is an Italian car . If you apply the same logic  then we are all wrong . It's down to what you feel comfortable with when behind the wheel .

Always nice to know that a fellow enthusiast has actually viewed the car and can vouch for it, inspires a bit more confidence in bidding blind, sounds a nice car 131 super-man, hopefully it goes to an enthusiast and not a dealer, shame you cant beg steal or borrow a bit more ??.
I prefer RHD if possible but recently bought LHD 131 super mainly because it was a realy nice genuine example and for the ocassional outing not a big deal being a left hooker anyway.
Only a handfull of integrale's were converted from new before handed over to customers, John Whalley Ltd was the appointed Lancia dealer that did a couple and had full factory support, some cars were converted at a later stage by non aproved garages and were not done well.

Personally feel the same, a LHD car would always feel like a compromise, and when spending this kind of money I'd rather wait for the right car.

Same with the Integrale, I've been tempted by one of these, but would want a factory converted RHD

A couple of years ago i was fortunate enough to buy one of only 2 integrale's converted from new to RHD by John Whalley and it drives no different to a LHD car, this purists thing is nonsense .

Maybe we'll find out why those coins are stuck on the top of the inner wing Smiley

Of course, last thing someone who's buying the car would want to see is the Vin number......

What's the interest in knowing the VIN no? Or are people ringing sports now?

They are not glued on Angry put there when I was taking the photos. I would never put my or anyone else's vin number up on line for all the world to see. I know a 131 Sport vin number to when I see one too ! There where 3 types used on 131 Sport's & this is the first type making it a very rare RHD 131 Sport.

Sorry fella, no offence intended, just he big old line of gum under the two remaining coins makes it look like they are stuck on, but forgive me, I am clearly in error
