Is it just me or do you guys get frustrated at not being able to go to the local shop an purchase parts off the shelf, i know being a classic car its harder to get parts, maybe i should go modern, however i love the look of the super mirafiori twin cam an dont want to change it... Undecided

That's it in a nutshell, go modern and have, almost, no problem getting parts. Go classic and suffer a little Wink. Do you really want to be boring mainstream or like being different ?.

For a second car deffo classic Grin.

This is why I went down the modern route(Mazda MZR/Ford Duratec), especially here in the U.S. Fiat parts are non-existent.

Did you post an add in the "Wanted" section? Using a Fiat engine would be ideal, but if the parts are hard to find then it isn't worth it. Good luck!

I recommend the ford duratec engine. 2.0, 2.3, 2.5. You can do fuel injection or carbs.

There must be a gearbox in UK available somewhere, it's a regular 131TC gearbox you are looking for?

I have got four of these but I live in Sweden sadly..

I've got 5, but I'm in Tasmania. There's a 131 box on Ebay in Germany, even if the freight doubled the price, it's still cheaper than replacing the Lampredi with any other rubbish.
