Yes but the earlier ferry is at 6:00am which would mean a 3:00am start from home and that's TOO EARLY!  Grin Grin

With invaluable help and contributions by Robert & Ingrid and Ren? and some suggestions by Jean Krenzer, 3ma16 is beginning to take shape  Cheesy

Planning for two of the days is nearly complete and very soon we'll have all 4 days organised. And it's already looking like another great 3ma  Grin

3ma16 - Monday 23rd May: Technik-Museum Day

Early departure from La Petite Pierre and drive to Speyer in Germany
Guided Tour of the Technik Museum Speyer at 11a.m.,  followed by short walk to our lunch at the restaurant Domnapf.
For our return to La Petite Pierre, back over the French border and onto Hirschthal for a coffee stop at the hotel restaurant Gimbelhof.
Arrive back at the hotel in time for pre-dinner drinks.

267 km total

Here's details of the first day's drive for 3ma16 on Friday 20th:

3ma16 - Friday 20th May: Waldleiningen drive

Leave hotel and visit nearby Lalique Museum in Wingen sur Moder at 10:00am.

By the time of our visit the museum will have their special exhibition "Lalique and the Art of Travel".

Then on to Weissenburg/ Wissembourg for lunch (Alsacian speciality: Flammkuchen (Tarte flamb?e) a "pizza" with cream, onions and bacon).

After lunch, via Landau to St. Martin, on to Totenkopfstra?e (former hill climb track) and rally special stage Waldleiningen (said to have 170+ bends on 15 kms).

Coffee break in Waldleiningen and then back to our hotel in La Petite Pierre.

274 km total

Details on a day "Ballon d'Alsace" to follow.
