roof panel support

Hi.

Having replaced the roof panel on my car, i am at the point where i need to refit the piece of steel that supports the roof panel.

 it is welded in where the door seals fit and then bonded to the roof panel along its length.

if anyone has done this job in the past could do with some advice as to what you stuck it back with.

i can remember seeing a previous post of this job in progress with a couple of lumps of wood holding it in place whilst the
curing was completed, any suggestions appriciated
