Yagmur now has a small stock of the rear parcel shelf reproduced in plastic which if you flock it would be better than original, price only ?25

I want one if you have and do you also have a front parcel shelf that goes in the right side under the dash board? I also need a set of lock barrels (door and boot) for a mkI and  what is the cost for shipping  to Greece? Thank you.

Abarth leads the way !

Hi Yagmur,

As you know I am currently working on my rear suspension trying t install an original abarth setup.

We have come across a problem of parts .

The rear turrets  need to be modified to accommodate different springs the Abarth suspension requires.

This in turn requires top mounts  installed from underneath and not as in standard rear - from top.

( the springs will be supported  not on a lower turret spring support ( which must be cut out bot on the top shock mount )

See problem definition on picture "the problem" and "the problem 1"

I therefore need the part that goes on top of front shock and bolts to the body front underneath the turret.
See pictures -  type 1

I have a set of two but the ones installed on the car need replacing and I want to used them for the front .

Do you have such parts ( with cup shaped washer that goes under the top nut) ?

On the forum I have seen you have another type (call it type 2) which consists of  tow elements : one that goes underneath the turret and one that goes on top of the turret - see picture:  type 2 assembly .

These could also be used ( I think ) provided he neck of type 2 will fit onto the top turret opening of 70 mm  and the bolt opening on top is large enough to accommodate a nut and a wrench I must use to bolt the shock.

Actually these may be even better , provided :

1/ the distance between the bolts is 90 mm and not 95 as in type 1
.
2 / the largest diameter of the bottom part  is smaller than 130mm .

Could you advise ASAP !
