I am selling my 1977 1600 Seat 131.
The car is in Spain.
More information and plenty of photos available.
I could sell the car locally but before I do I thought I would offer her on here just incase anyone is looking for a nice looking car with NO Corrosion, historically and before my ownership she has had near front offside collision damage which is apparent only when you look closely inside the engine Bay Area (photos available).
I have been running the car for +4 years now, I have fitted a series 3 interior, new bumpers, steering joints, brakes, fully replaced the suspension springs and shocks back to standard, wheels are campagnolo, all door handles were replaced. she is running very well and rides very nice.
The engine has a small oil leak at one cam box.
I also have a NOS 1600 short engine for sale, which if the price is right I would include with the car along with a large valve cylinder head, valves, cams, shims springs etc etc etc, all you need to build another engine.
I will If no one is interested  advertise the car locally in Spain (Granada) before the end of January.
Car will cruise at 100km all day.
Car is on Spanish plates and road legal.
Car £2000. Engine £1000.
For more information PM me with your email address.

Sorry to hear you're selling Steve. Would be very interested myself if I didn't already have 6 mirafioris, including 2 LHD ones!  Grin

Can you post some pictures direct though as the photobucket link doesn't work for most of us.

JasonH, this would make a great rust free 3MA car for really good money.

Hi Simon,
Happy New Year.
ill try sort some more photos out and post them, however i only have photo bucket as an account and they have stopped third party viewing unless i pay! anyone interested should contact me and I can be more specific about the car and engine.
Car I would keep but for the fact I have now retired and we are moving back to the UK from Spain.
I already have a 1934 Citroen Rosalie on its way (getting New Chrome at the moment) and my TR8 FHC (Original not a conversion) in the UK so no room for any more cars.
I did consider driving her back and although i am sure she would make it it is a looong way to go in a 40 year old car. I estimate €800 - €900 would get the car shipped back to the UK.
The NOS short engine 1600 was a real find, and its a Fiat not a Seat one, I have everything I need to build another engine here in Spain, original plan was to replace the current engine in the car because its a little tired and really does need an overhaul or replacing.
if anyone buys them both I can arrange to have the engine secured safely in the boot of the car.
Regards
Steve

Hi again Steve,

Happy New Year to you and yours too Sir!

Thanks for the pics by email. I'll try to reduce the file size a bit and post up here. Car looks sweet - shame it's badged as a SEAT, but the bonus is it's rust free.

If I had the space I'd buy it in a heartbeat, and I'd drive it back to the UK! (1000 - 1250 mile run is a great way to get to know a car).  Cool A great proposition for someone! I'll see if any of my family members 'need' it!  Grin

A couple of questions - is the roof white or square checker board? And do you have any wider interior pics?

Simon,
I’ll take a few more photos tomorrow.
Roof is white, the stickers I removed, the lowered suspension was removed and back to standard.
The interior is a black series 3, dash is cracked! Due to heat.
Photos tomorrow.
