Professionally restored by Avanti Motorsport in Somerset, England. Hormann big wing body kit imported from Germany, reconditioned engine, twin carb set. Has been run in but needs pistons realigned therefore trailer required to collect (Bedford, England). No tax or MOT. Pictures of car in project corner of this forum posted by Barno. Thats typical i have nearly done mine now if this had come up 8mths ago it would have saved me loads of agro, it does look nice though. Ido know of a guy croft engine that would go well in it aswell. barry.

Hey Phil,

Better take a look again at this topic. It's been awhile since it was posted. I just came by this one and found it funny to post a picture and add a reply. But it's not relevant anymore.
Don't know what Barno meant with re-alignment, but i'm sure he found a way. Wonder what happened to the car.

Iv worked on engines on and off over the years but I never heard of realligning pistons

C'mon ...re-allaligning what ?

Pistons ?  Is the engine a piece of junk ?

Getting to pistons means total engine disassembly.

The engine may be beyond repair and in best case need total rebuilding ?

Who build the engine and to what specs?

Lots of fun !
