Inner main beam bulbs are 45W would it be legal to fit 55W bulbs or greater?

Do you still have the round base 410 type tangsten bulbs in your car?
I believe it would be legal to fit 60W halogen 410 bulbs since later 131s had 55/60W bulbs fitted as standard. Of course you can also get 40W bulbs these days that are up to 150% brighter than old tungsten 40W bulbs Wink

Didn’t know that..very bright...
And as there only on for main beam stick 100w on a
Relay to save the ignition switch lighting circuit..
