A number of Austrians are coming to visit the UK for a South-to-North roadtrip from 6th to 16th of June 2022. I've been informed of this by a very good FB friend who thought that some of us might want to join in for either part or the whole roadtrip.
Participants are to meet in Dover on the evening of 5th June, 2022 and spend 11 days driving north to end in Edinburgh on the 16th of June. Full details on their website at

Unfortunately I won't be able to join them as I am expected to be very busy in June. I am also an old man that likes the luxury of knowing there will be a hotel with a good restaurant and a comfy bed waiting for me at the end of each day while this roadtrip is a journey of "
discovering together, without any predetermined routes and fixed meeting points...".
