It's set to be a weekend filled with potions and pistons, as we race along the Hogwarts Highway through the Forbidden Forest. Nestled on the banks of the beautiful North Tyne River, on the outskirts of the charming market town of Bellingham, the hotel is easily accessible by road. Northumberland, a sparsely populated rural county in the Northeast of the UK on the England-Scotland border, boasts one of the most picturesque and untouched coastlines, featuring 30 miles of unspoiled beaches.
Built in 1886 as a Victorian mansion, Riverdale Hall retains its original charm and character while offering the luxury and comfort of a modern country house hotel. With 28 individually decorated bedrooms, an indoor heated pool, and a sauna, it has been named the “Best Hotel in Northumberland.” The hotel’s award-winning cuisine, extensive grounds, quaint riverside location, and wonderful views make it a premier destination that guests return to time and again.
Northumberland, with more castles than any other county (including Alnwick Castle, which portrayed Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films) and heritage sites like Hadrian's Wall, offers a rugged, remote, cultural, and scenic escape from city life. The landscape feels as much like Scotland as it does England.
We have secured a special deal with the hotel for 3ma25 at £104 per person, per night for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. The included dinner will be a 3 course meal and coffee. A sample menu is attached for you to explore. There will be a £10 supplement for single occupancy so it's worth pairing with a friend in a twin room. We have also arranged for one single room with no surcharge in case of an odd number of single occupancy bookings.
With 3ma25 spanning four days, from Friday, 23rd to Monday, 26th May, we have reserved rooms for five nights, from
Thursday, 22nd May to Tuesday, 27th May, but they must be booked by the end of February. Book directly with the hotel, and mention “
