Thanks to our French members Pascal and Alain, 3ma27 is GO! It will take place in the Lauragais countryside from 30th April to 3rd May 2027 and over the four days it will combine aviation history, medieval heritage, and excellent driving roads. With two major highlights, the Aeroscopia Aeronautical Museum in Toulouse and the Cité de Carcassonne, 3ma27 will offer a well‑balanced mix of sightseeing, gentle touring, time to relax and socialise and of course plenty of French gastronomy.

The stretch of southwest France between Toulouse and Carcassonne is one of the richest corridors in Europe for a classic car event with superb driving roads and a strong mechanical/aviation heritage.

The Aeroscopia Aeronautical Museum is a world class aviation museum with ample space, iconic aircraft, and strong event infrastructure making it an ideal point for a classic car meeting. Located in Blagnac, minutes from Toulouse and adjacent to Airbus facilities, it houses over 40 aircraft, including Concorde, Super Guppy, Caravelle, A300B, A320 prototype, A340 600, and a fully accessible A380.  It features 35,000 m˛ indoor and 20,000 m˛ outdoor tarmac, giving huge flexibility for parking, displays, or photo opportunities.  The backdrop of Concorde or the A380 will make for a spectacular groupenfoto!

Cité de Carcassonne, one of Europe’s most dramatic medieval fortresses, is a perfect contrast to Toulouse’s modern aeronautics and will be an unforgettable destination for 3ma27. A UNESCO World Heritage Site with double ramparts, 52 towers, and a fully preserved medieval citadel. The old city sits above the Aude valley, offering panoramic views. The approach roads from Toulouse (via Castelnaudary or the scenic backroads through Lauragais) are ideal for our 131s: rolling countryside, low traffic, and photogenic villages.  The medieval setting will contrast beautifully with our classic 131s The area’s gastronomy (cassoulet, Minervois wines) supports a friendly and pleasant social programme.

Finer details are still being finalised and we are currently in discussions with several hotels in the area. One of the biggest challenges in organising these events, is the uncertainty around numbers as we genuinely don’t know whether to expect 10 or 100 participants. That’s not an exaggeration; attendance has ranged from just six people during the Covid years to 104 people for lunch in Turin at 3ma24, the 50th anniversary of the Fiat 131.

To help us plan effectively, please complete the form at 3ma27 eForm to register your interest and we will keep you updated as arrangements are confirmed.
