Title: Any "marrone bruciato metallizzato 732" 131 in this forum? Post by: 131DHOC on February 01, 2010, 11:07:41 AM That's the question.....at their time I used to see very little of them, although fiat putted this colour at first page in sellers publications and I have been seeing it in advertisings too. Anyone of these in the forum? As far I remember I have never seen a panorama super with this colour, and just one panorama cl. I think it was a very nice colour but not a bestseller.

Post by: mirafioriman on February 01, 2010, 10:21:18 PM I had a Super (saloon) that was a similar colour but perhaps not the same. I think I still have the bootlid from it so if I remember I will check to see it the colour code is still on it.

Post by: 131DHOC on February 02, 2010, 05:30:15 PM hello mirafioriman, third series had only this brown metallic paint so it's the only possibility; but second series had a non metallic brown which had a very similar tone.
@131lover: What super do you have, 1300, 1600 or 2000? Title: Re: Any "marrone bruciato metallizzato 732" 131 in this forum? Post by: 131 Lover on February 02, 2010, 06:22:47 PM Hi!

Now its gone 120.000km, some rust in the rear arches but very well preserved paint, interior is perfect shape, all is like it was sold in -83! I will get some pics as soon as the bloody snow storm goes away.. 131 lover Title: Re: Any "marrone bruciato metallizzato 732" 131 in this forum? Post by: 131DHOC on February 02, 2010, 06:31:07 PM thank you, I thought this colour was only available until july 1982, but maybe fiat had some unsold brown 131's until 1983!

The -83 super 2000Tc had emission control,EGR and Gulp valves, the -82 did not have this in Sweden at least, the rest of Europe i don't know. What i could find was that the -83 had 4 colors to choose from, Blue met 400, Burnt chestnut met 732, and silver met 620, Light beige met 512 obviously the Blue and silver sold best! I have fotos but cant put then here, they are bmp not jpg.. 131 lover Title: Re: Any "marrone bruciato metallizzato 732" 131 in this forum? Post by: 131DHOC on February 03, 2010, 07:35:09 PM Hello, you can send me the photos if you want and I can convert them to jpg. I find very interesting that stuff of emission control, do you have pics? Apart this, third series was sold in most countries in many colours metallic and not, there was a non metallic red, various light and dark brown, camel, two light blue, white, dark blue, and in metallic I remember dark blue, light blue, blue-gray, silver, beige, brown and some last cars in the same dark grey as fiat uno.

Title: Re: Any "marrone bruciato metallizzato 732" 131 in this forum? Post by: 131DHOC on February 04, 2010, 05:17:05 PM I think 131s from Sweden are very unusual and nice and have a sporty touch too, isn't it? Please Alf, can you translate the text from original? I find very strange that a (supposely) new car wears seat covers, what is exactly this document? It's from a swedish fiat seller? Anyway, Some of these labeled 131s remained in Italy, I have seen one marrone bruciato with exactly the same stitching many years ago. Also, can you please send me the first picture you posted in original size and extension, so we can all see it better (and I'll save it for me too!).
Title: Re: Any "marrone bruciato metallizzato 732" 131 in this forum? Post by: 131 Lover on February 06, 2010, 06:35:21 PM Hello!
First, this document is from a Swedish Fiat sellers in -83, and it is an inspiration catalog for Strada (called Ritmo in sweden) 131, 127, Fiorino, explanation comes with the translation! About the seat covers, at least in Sweden in the eighties it was for putting your own touch in the car and not because the seats was worn out, almost all cars had seat covers at that time here! I just love this catalog the words and pics... Now to the text: The pic on the front of the catalog where a Fiat is on a high hill. Quote: Fiats idea book for you who wants to make your car a little more personal! The pic with the full size car: Quote: Fiat 131 super equipped with Pirelli high speed tires on Abarth aluminum wheels, stripes, black chromed radio antenna in stainless steel and sunscreen on the roof. Next: there are no pic just fore words in first page! Quote; You are what you drive, with the car you express who you are. Some wants to show that they are sporty, other just think practical, some likes to be luxuries, some people just want to be different.... Then there are them that thinks the most important is not to mark them selves in the crowd. This book is not for them!! Its made for you who would like to see your car a little bit of your own, a bit more personal. The only thing we know about you is that you drive a Fiat! The three pic, fist the seat cover pic: Quote:Fiat 131 super inside:Atex- casino, fabric in velvet with institutions in dubbeljersey, form pressed rubber carpets and radio. The wheel pic: Quote:Pirelli high speed tires on Abarth aluminum wheels. The Luggage pic. Quote:Luggage rack in black chrome or galvanized steel mounted on the back trunk, does not hurt the paint. The to pic and text: Left side up: Quote:sunscreen. left under: Quote:Fiat 131 with stripe on. The text to the right, its for the panorama pic. Quote:Fiat 131 estate is further ahead of other estates. more horsepower and there for more drive joy and security. You who has a fiat 131 estate knows what we mean, and since it is as much a sports car as an estate - equip it like a such. To be shy isn't always good. Post by: 131DHOC on February 07, 2010, 08:05:24 AM Thank you very much, maybe swedish people would buy a car that remembers summer and sun in cold winters! Sunroof and stitching do the work.....
