Also try replacing the standard bulbs with new standard ones, they can dim with age.

Title: Re: dashboard/dials light Post by: Tas131 on November 25, 2011, 01:54:39 AM I recently had issues with the dimmer on my car, the plastic arm for the wiper on the rheostat broke. I replaced the dimmer from another instrument cluster, but it worked intermittently. So I simply soldered a wire across the rear contacts, full brightness now. I've been contemplating fitting red Led's, just for something different.
