Title: Wanted: Good and Cheap 131 2d from Europe Post by: 131rally on February 18, 2013, 08:28:07 AM I need a 2d body for my g.4 project, the -75-76 versions are on top of my list, but later versions will do also. Cannot find anything from Finland. I have contact to a wreight company which collect cars from all over europe to Finland. So, please, offer me a unrusted 2d cars from anywhere from europe. Spain/Italy/Germany/France... It dont need to have tech, can be broken and undriveable. Good and unrusty body + papers is all I need, it would help if it is in rolling condition. The wreight will cost, so the car cannot be expensive. Also hints of car for sale in some website are welcome. I may consider 4d also, but would like 2d more so I dont need to modify.

BUT, the repair parts are made from straight steel sheet, it looks really ugly when you make a car without carpets. I should change the parts (complete floors and so on...) again to make it look original :-[ So, if I can find a car where I dont need to do it all over again, it would save me a half a year of bodywork....

It won't be easy to find a solid 2-door car, first series, and for a fair price. But nothing is impossible... ;) I think you will end up in starting the welding over again, Marko. It might take some time, but in the end it will be cheaper.
