Title: 3ma27 - 30th April to 3rd May 2027 ** ACCOMMODATION DETAILS ** Post by: Thotos on November 03, 2026, 01:01:47 PM 3ma27 Accommodation
Our chosen hotel for 3ma27 is the ibis Styles (https://all.accor.com/hotel/B6J1/index.en.shtml) hotel in Castelnaudary. Situated in the heart of the Lauragais region, Castelnaudary is renowned as the home of the famous Cassoulet and is often described as a land of abundance. Ideally located between the Mediterranean coast and the Pyrenees mountains, the town lies alongside the historic Canal du Midi and within easy reach of the impressive Cathar castles. A thriving market town and the historic capital of the Lauragais region, Castelnaudary is approximately 50 km south-east of Toulouse and sits on an important route that has been in use since Roman times. The town flourished during the 17th century as a major port on the Canal du Midi, enabling local agricultural and manufactured goods to be exported more easily. Today, its magnificent Grand Bassin, covering 7 hectares (17 acres), is the largest open stretch of water on the canal and one of its principal leisure ports. We are extremely grateful to our French members and 3ma27 organisers, Pascal and Alain, who have negotiated the following special rates for our group at the ibis Styles hotel: €120 per room per night - Double or twin room, bed and breakfast included €110 per room per night - Single-occupancy room, bed and breakfast included These special rates are available for the full 3ma27 stay (arrival 29 April 2027, departure 4 May 2027) as well as shorter stays during the event period. To benefit from these discounted rates, it is essential that you mention "Fiat 131 Group" when making your reservation.
