Strange to see the two plastic trims still on the rear number plate holder of a scrapped car.

Looks the boot lid came into contact with a hungry shark!  Smiley

Looks like a typical scrapyard picture from 1991. I remember in 1990, going to some of the scrap yards along the North Wales Coast looking for a boot carpet for my Sport Smiley. Found one eventually Grin. The point is that I can remember them being full of Mirafiori's Huh; of which 95% were S2 Super's and CL's.

The question is why were there so many scrapped Huh, whereas Cortina's and Escorts of the same era, seem to be kept on the road Undecided. Was it that the Fiat rusted more, was potentially more expensive to fix and its resale value was not as much. Probably a combination of all 3. Shame Cry Cry Cry Cry

Just look at the Brown Super (9 Years old at the time) and surrounded by much older vehicles Undecided. They never looked nice in Brown and it was never a popular colour for them. Sad
