Well chaps the day has arrived.
After discussions with various fellow forum members over the past month or so I have finally decided to sell my beloved 131 'Voli'.
I have been through all the 'do I don't I' turmoil but the fact remains that my employment is still in the balance with the current economic situation and as I'm frequently reminded?

the roof over my (our) heads is far more important than a car that gets used only during the summer months.
So here I find myself putting my car up for sale and the best place to start is right here.
As many of you know already......... YLX 806X is a 1982 Fiat Abarth 131 Volumetrico 4dr saloon.
Imported to the UK in 2000 from Bergamo Italy, owned by Tony Castle-Miller of Middle Barton Garage 2002-2004.
I have owned this car since 2004 and in 2006 I changed/refreshed the cars appearence to that of how it looks today.
There is no 'red worm' present in the body of this car as it has been garaged since it arrived on these shores and has been fully waxoyled.
Mechanically she is in good order also, all electrics are working including the central locking!
The car has been maintained to a high standard throughout its life and this shows in the overall condition inside and out.
The only faults I can see are... the 2 wire plug in wiring is missing for the front inner spot lights (I never found the Sport wiring that plugs into the existing harness to use for this, but I understand it is obtainable) and there is a minor oil leak from the front of the sump that blows back through driving on the motorway and onto the steering rack....I'll clean this off but its easy to spot.? ?
She has 93,000km on the clock and the general condition of the interior and controls supports this.
MOT'd to 19/09/2009, taxed to 31/03/09. Insurance for a 37 year old with full NCD, garaged and 3000 miles limited milage is ?176 fully comprehensive.?
Ok so now the asking price....I have discussed with the other forum members what the going rate for a Volumetrico should be, and comparing the cars that have been on the market recently to mine I have come to a figure of ?8,000 Sterling, e 10,177 Euro....thats the exchange rate is as of today.....let me know if you agree/disagree.
Any viewing is welcome and I can answer any questions you may have.
Also send me a email and I'll send you some pics.
Well thats the hard part for me over and done with......

I'll be very interested in your opinions and many thanks again to everyone who shared their advice with me.
