Seems a bit cheap but it's not as fresh as others for sale at the moment.

Smiley Wow, the right price, imo best body colour & correct interior, I would just want to tint the windows to keep it low key.....lol, must be worth a trip for such a genuine car.

Having just had 2 and a half weeks in Northern Italy, Lake Garda area plus Milan, I was shocked at the lack of 'old cars on the road'. The oldest car I saw was an early / mid 90's Alfa 155!

I don't know where the Italians get all their money from to drive all these new cars (particularly Audi's there everywhere).

Maybe the situation is different in the south of the country. In comparison with France there are just masses of old cars in regular use dating back to the 70's.

I don't know if other people have come to the same conclusions.

Definitely concur with that thinking Rob - I've had 5 holidays in Italy now (1996 Rimini, 2005 Tuscany, 2006 Naples, 2007 Lake Como & 2008 Sicily) and for all of the holidays in the noughties, the proliferation of Japaneese and Korean cars was a big disappointment (no offence to far eastern car makers). Also noticed the car wealth you mention around the North and the opposite in the South (ie Sicily). I'm sure I've put up postings and pics after each holiday on here somewhere (primarily pics of old Fiats) but certainly they were more common in Sicily than elsewhere.

Wherever you go though, there are early versions of the 500 and Panda EVERYWHERE, mostly white!  Grin
