There are currently over 1100 pending registrations to join the forum and that's just for the last couple of weeks, anything older than that has been deleted. At least 99.99% of those are spammers wishing to join so they can sell us all kinds of wonderful pills, point us to their porn sites or enlarge parts of our anatomy. It takes far too long to search through the registrations to pick out the legitimate ones so I'm going to give up trying.  Forum permissions have been changed so guests can now read this message so if you are trying to join our forum and your registration hasn't been approved please email us with a very brief explanation of why you will be joining us and your registration will be approved.

Anything remotely connected to Fiat 131 or any Fiat or even any car is a valid reason to be on here  Wink

I used to have one of those! It was a 1975 Golf 'N' which must have stood for 'Nothing' as it was so basic it didn't have anything! It didn't even have a glove compartment lid; it was simply an open compartment on the dashboard and everything flew out when driving away in a bit of a hurry. Had to get rid of it because it rusted to bits.

Wink I was joking. Because i chose the 131 over the Golf-"feeling". I mean, looking through my cars windows i see so many Golfs around me. I am proud to drive 131's. I drive something different.
But we are drifting away from your point  Smiley Wink

ha ha - I wonder could we have some more fun with these letter variants....?

The other letter that usually denoted the basic model was "L" - eg Escort 1.1L - I guess that "L" could stand for "Loser"!  Smiley
