I have the mirafiori Sport badge on my car, since it is from Germany. But in a couple of months i will take it on the road and the badge MUST be changed to Racing. Back in days the car was sold as Racing here in Holland, and i think that name is more special.

Thing that bugs me is if you have the seat towels they always said Racing and never Sport, so if you had a Sport badge on the rear light & the towels on the seats with Racing, its just not right Angry This is another good reason to buy the right Racing badge and replace the incorrect Sport one Grin Grin

As i recall there was a debate some time ago about the names Racing and mirafiori Sport. I allways fancied the name Racing. There were, and are, so many cars named "sport". The name Racing is so much more outstanding.
The towels for the seats were something else. I've never encountered anything like that before. And after, for that matter. And there you have it, the 131 Racing is so special in so much many ways. It was, and still is, a car of it's own. There never was and there never will be a car like that. The name mirafiori Sport is such an understatement. Why don't we all call it Racing? Cheesy
A true tribute to a three times world rally champion. And let's not forget about that... Wink

In the UK they were sold as the mirafiori sport so if you have an original RHD UK car and want it to be original then the racing badge is incorrect. It's all a matter of personal taste Cool

Sure. I know the car was named Mirafiori Sport in Britain and in Germany and in some other countries as well. But he name Racing stands out more. Don't you? It's more an understatement.
And it's got nothing to do with personal taste. I would never fight anyone about the two different names. Everybody has his own right to call his/her car the way he/she likes.

Although the racing badge sounds more exciting,  I'll keep the Brava badge on my car as it was made.  I do wish I had some of the additional pieces that went with the Racing/ Sport cars on my Brava,  they were not available to buyers in the USA.  I really like the look of the wheel arch trim and the front air dam that was available in Europe.
