Just when passing through the small inland village of Astromeritis (maybe even Theo won't know where this is...) during our holiday in Cyprus I happened to spot a derelict orange car. Immediately I pulled up and asked if I could take a picture. The young, friendly owner (who unfortunately spoke only a little English) was happy and told me "I have another one" - and in his cramped garage there sat a resto object, a Racing in the correct color (arancio racing), with perfect doors (!) and all welding done. The owner said it would take another 6 months to have her on the road again, and showed me also the already finished engine with 2 IDF 40s. I left the 131mirafiori.com address, hope he will sign on soon.

Enough talk, here two pics - one of the car in the driveway (rotten but could be saved) and the other car in the garage:

Love stories like this Grin.

When I was having problems with my Alfa, I got the Rac out, the guy who turned up saw my 131 in the garage and said " I know where there's one of those for sale".

Got the address of him, went to have a look and now Hicky has it Wink. Wonder how many more are out there, tucked away waiting to be discovered Huh.

Hello Panayis,

yes, the car had faded Abarth logos on the rear side windows. If you want to contact the owner, here's the approximate location (if you happen to go to Astromeritis)  Smiley
