Does anyone have any series 3 Supermirafiori 2 litre engines lying around that are only suitable for scrap?

I'm looking for a mounting bracket for the pump and a crank pulley.

hi dave, i think i have a pulley but will have to double check, the problem will be the bracket which is part of the oil filter housing..  this will need to be exchanged for the one off your engine. the next problem then is the gasket......good luck with that one.  chris

Hi,

Is the bracket part of the oil filter housing or does it seperate? I'm sure the gasket could be made.

the bracket and oil filter housing was all one part and it was made from cast iron or cast steel (heavy) and not aluminium as the normal one and the gasket between the engine and housing was the same as aluminium one.

the engine in question does not actually belong to me  but is destined for a kit/project car so these parts are not required but i will need a proper gasket or a very well made one to refit the exchanged housing back on to it.  the gasket may come off in one piece but as the engine is not mine i can't risk it.

I don't think I have a housing to swap so thanks for the offer but I'll have to pass on this one.

Thanks anyway Grin
