Yagmur?

Normally the whole track control arm is replaced but presumably you have the different Abarth arms on your car so you just need the bushes?

Hi Enzo.

I am afraid the car is so stiff that if I take the powerflex it will be risking the integrity of the chassis.

Do they come in different stiffness ?

Thotos.

The track control arms for Abarth hub needs a bigger and stronger ball joint as standard Fiat (0 to fit into the Abarth hub. So the new one does not solve my problem.

I will either get a new one and replace the ball joint with my larger ones, or  (most likely) refurbish the old ones . This way the ball joint stays in place the ball joints with bigger  ball joints.

Thanks

Big question :

Are all control arms for 131 the same - the sellers seem to differentiate:  75-82 ; 82-84; 83 -83  but they all give the same replacement part number of FCA5519

Can someone explain ?

Please help! (URGENT!)

Does anybody if the Yagmur bushes I bought are applicable to my current needs ? (see red markings on the drawings.

I bought it as front bush set.

My understanding is this:

# 1 for front stabilizing bar (to chassis ) ?

# 2 and # 4 to hold the stabilizing bar in the control arm  Huh?? (please verify)

To me it it really looks like rear shock absorber to axis bush (set of bush 814677 and washer  814890) rather than  a set I need : washer - 4177788; 4240587 , and  a distance sleeve 4111185

Please tell me I am wrong  as this will mean I have the parts I badly need !

# 3 and 4  control arm ( to cross member ?)

# 5 for Panhard rod???

Miro

PS: Yagmur , can you help ?

Items 2 & 4 are used for the TCA to Sway bar, (not sure sbout the tube 5? sway bars come in 2 different diameters and i wonder if the tube may be for this?)
I fitted these items as purchased from Yagmur, you need to knock out the centre of the TCA to sway bar.
Centre comes out with a good cloute.

number 6 is for rear suspension. number 5 is not. therefore it can be either 4312771 or 4177785

Fit polyurethane or best uniball links. it is much better then rubber. It will improve handling a lot. If you are afraid about integrity of your chassis then you need to check if it is rusty Smiley There will be no problem on a good chassis. You could fit steel replacement to rubber in the place where sway bar is attached to the wishbone(TCA? ). Your wheels will not be moving back nad forward during braking, sway bar will not crack as it is flexible.
Best it will be if you convert you suspension to something that i use in my 131(see photo)
